You can find Concept 2 rowing machines for sale online for very cheap if you look for a used or second hand one. I however, choose to buy a new Concept and it set me back a few bucks I can tell you. It was still worth it though as it is an excellent piece of fitness equipment and I used almost everyday.
However, considering my buddy picked one up really cheap off eBay and it works just as well as mine, I’ll be buying used exercise machines from now on. I hope to get a second hand treamill in a few months and have already begun researching. Thats the thing about buying used exercise equipment, you MUST do the proper research.
If you treat buying second hand machines the same way as you do buying new ones, you could well get ripped off. Instead you need to join online forums where you can talk to people who own the equipment your thinking of buying. This way you will know all about any faults to look out for and what to expect.
If you wish you buy a Concept 2 rowing machine you should be just fine as it does not seem to have many flaws and works great.
