My friend decided to buy a Concept 2 rowing machine second hand whilst I bought a new one. My one runs great and I’ve had zero problems with it. But my friends Concept 2 also goes just fine and he hasn’t had to buy any parts for it or anything! Plus he paid half the price for his used on then I did with my new one.
So I suggest that you do look seriously into buying a second hand Concept rower machine because so long as you get one that hasn’t been abused, you stand to save a lot of money! Whats more, if you get it for that cheap you can then add to your home gym with a second hand exercise bike or treadmill.
Then again, it has only been a year since we both bought our rowers and there is a chance that his will get a little burned out before mine, but as of yet they’re almost identical.
You can buy a used Concept 2 rowing machine on eBay or another online auction site. I suggest that you take a good look at it before you buy it though and take a look at the logbook and other documentation so that you know what to look for.
